Family outing •11,98 miles *2 hours 30 minutes •Ascent: 110 meters •Waymarked trail (yellow orientation arrows) •Carpark: Next to the tourist office, at the foot of the village. •From the carpark, take the footpath southward for about 10 yards, turn left and head straight on uphill to Saint Auxile Chapel •The alleyway soon begins a trail. Follow it until it takes you past an ancient washing place. 545 yards further cross the junction and carry on heading east; follow the track until it meets a surfaced walkpath. About 599 yards further you will reach another junction with an oratory. Follow the path that squeezes between villas and housing estates •Ignore the Chapel sign. Take a sharp right turn here. A walk up the hill will take you to another path curving uphill to a wood and eventually to Saint Auxile chapel. •Bypass the chapel heading southward.Use the wide forest track and walk downhill northeastward. •Bear left , ignore the track going uphill to a reservoir. Instead, bear left and walk downhill northward. Head up to a junction where you find the so called “Colle Blanche” forest track. •Turn right onto the track, continue further on a 436 yard distance and take a sharp right turn torwards “Les Regussons” place name. Cross over a small hill and head straight downhill, southward. You will reach a small tarred road. At this point, turn left. •After a 981 yard distance, at the junction take a sharp left turn onto a tarred road heading uphill. •545 yards further, at the junction, turn left onto a trail. About 1 mile further, at the crossroad, keep the “Reguson” trail to your left and head further downhill. Pass the crossroad following the track down to Saint Auxile. Then, at the crossroad, follow the pathway up to the very top of the hill. From there retrace your steps to Callas city centre.
